Refund policy

Return & Exchange Policy

At Brielle’s Shells™, we want you to love your purchase! Because our products are handmade, wearable, and used in the hair, we have specific guidelines to keep all customers safe and ensure quality.

Please read the policy below before ordering.


1. How to Return

If your product is unused and in original condition, we may accept a return within:

👉 14 days of delivery

To request a return, email: hello@briellesshells.com with:

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

Approved returns must be shipped back at the customer’s expense.
Once received and inspected, a refund will be issued (minus shipping costs if we provide you with the shipping label).


2. Exchanges

The customer is responsible for the shipping the item back, and Brielle's Shells will cover the cost to ship the new item to the customer.

To exchange an item, please contact us at hello@briellesshells.com with:

  • Order number
  • Which item you want to return (if you ordered multiple items)
  • Which new item you want (including the product name, color, and size). 

You must ship back the item you want to exchange within 14 days of receiving your order. 


3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will make it right.

Please email us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Order number

  • A photo of the issue

  • Description of what is wrong

We will replace or refund defective items at no cost to you.

Damages caused by misuse, improper handling, or wear-and-tear are not eligible.


4. Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

Packages marked “Delivered” by USPS/UPS are considered fulfilled.
We are not responsible for:

  • Stolen packages

  • Lost packages

  • Incorrect addresses entered by the customer

If you cannot locate your package:

  • Check with neighbors

  • Look around your property

  • Contact the carrier with your tracking number

We are happy to assist but cannot guarantee replacements for stolen or missing mail.


5. Cancellations & Order Changes

You may email us at Hello@BriellesShells.com to request an order change or cancellation. Because we begin preparing orders quickly:

  • We cannot guarantee cancellations after the order is placed

  • Address changes must be requested immediately and are not guaranteed

  • If the order has shipped, changes cannot be made


6. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless:

  • The item arrived damaged

  • The wrong item was sent

Shipping costs are non-refundable.


8. Wholesale Returns

All wholesale orders are final sale due to inventory planning and production scheduling.

If there is a manufacturing issue with a wholesale order, please contact your wholesale rep within 7 days of receiving the shipment.
